Web Store Specialist
Student Services, Inc. (SSI) at West Chester University has an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to become their Web Store Specialist. Reporting to the SSI Bookstore Director, the Web Store Specialist is responsible for managing the operation of the University Bookstore website and all online retail sales.
The candidate must possess a wide range of skills including website design and maintenance experience, (working with MBS, the industry standard will be considered a plus), marketing and the promotion of online merchandise, the ability to provide technical assistance to users, and the administration of the full lifecycle of website products and information. He/she will also be responsible for managing and promoting the online Apple store.
The Web Store Specialist is also responsible for fostering a store presence through social media tools, creating marketing campaigns, and maintaining a dynamic event calendar. The successful candidate is expected to be creative, flexible, possess a good working attitude, work well in a team environment, and be customer-service oriented.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Knowledge of basic web designs and principles/Front Page/HTML
- 1-3 years experience preferred, previous experience with MBS a plus
- Related work-experience in online merchandising desirable
- Background-check on selected candidate required
- Salary range: $35,000 to $40,000 based on experience
